Initial Consultation: Usually Quick (video) call which will mainly help me to understand your vision, schedule and priorities.
Planning: I will present you potential scenarios and you can choose the perfect one fitting both of you.
Do you want to visit other locations as well? Glaciers, Waterfall or a Cave? No Problem! Let´s explore Iceland even further!

Once we finalize the details, we’ll lock in your date and create a clear plan for the proposal. A signed contract and deposit secure your booking and ensure we’re both fully protected.

We meet at the planned location and time, where everything unfolds naturally — and I capture the beginning of your new life chapter.

After the proposal and photoshoot, the real work (for the photographer) actually starts, however you get to keep exploring Iceland. Meanwhile I will make sure, that you will receive enough content to share it with the others. It will be up to you, if its a photobook, picture on the wall or a stunning social media update!
Depending on the scope, volume and difficulty of the photoshoot the results will be delivered accordingly. Usually the clients receive first sneak peak up to 24 hours from the event and then around 6-9 days the rest of the album. The photos are received by the client in full resolution and size without compression and of course photo edited.

DIAMOND BEACH & JÖKULSÁRLÓN
ICE, ICE BABY!
I was contacted by Nick on very short notice as he was looking for someone to capture his secret marriage proposal here in Iceland. His idea was kneeling at the diamond beach with a sunset behind him. Once I heard his idea, I had to be honest with him during our initial video call and prepare him for a more common scenario - Him half wet from rain, kneeling withstanding the cold gusts, and witnessing the true Icelandic darkness.
During our second call, we had easy going discussion to find out the plan for the upcoming secret marriage proposal for Nick. As we went deep into the planning, several potential options had emerged, and we had chosen the most optimal ones for both of us. I needed flexibility and majestic surroundings and Nick relative privacy - the Diamond Beach was our final pick.
Luckily enough, as I was arriving at Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach, the sun actually peeked out and sent us some of its last amber rays of sunshine for that day. I was positively challenged with many different light conditions, ranging from super bright sunset laser beams to very blue darkness full of icy tones after the sunset. After the Proposal, I was introduced to his just-proposed fiancée, Makayla. We have then decided to continue alongside the Jökulsárlón coast to take some more pictures from this amazing location.

WINTER TIME!
Winter time in Iceland is here. Here on the South Coast of Iceland, that could mean either a snow storm with severe freezing winds and heavy snowfall, or a calm, windless day, or something in between. Paul has chosen a day for his secret engagement with almost the least amount of daylight that he could. The light in mid-December is very scarce, usually quite sharp, low-angled, and simply unforgiving.
At the same time, he and his partner had such a strong, almost electric connection full of joy, movement, and emotions - quite a challenging combination to say at least. Paul proposed his (now Fiancée) at the more intimate waterfall location named Kvernufoss. Afterwards, we visited Skogafoss and finally both of the local and very popular Black Sand Beaches at the South Coast - Reynisfjara and Vikurfjara.

VESTRAHORN &
STOKKSNESS BEACH
THE CAPE of
love
The Icelandic East Region has many epic sites like Stokksnes Beach and its view of Vestrahorn mountain. I was contacted by a young and very charismatic man from Canada. His idea was to propose with a background of the stunning Vestrahorn cliffs, which are jaw jaw-dropping site and definitely worth visiting even if you are not planning to propose to your beloved one.
As our photoshoot began, the unpredictable Icelandic weather provided us with better conditions, so we were lucky enough to also visit one of the local waterfalls and enjoy this even more secluded site almost alone for a few hours.

SHE SAID
YES!
Victor´s girlfriend, Lexi, is a big-time horse enthusiast. Therefore, he has decided to visit one of the most interesting Icelandic stables and spend the whole day in the company of these unique creatures. Ultimately, that's when he also wanted to propose to her at the same time!
On the day D, Icelandic weather was showing its full powers through strong gusts and heavy rain penetrating through our clothes. However, we all remained calm and witnessed one of my favourite moments within secret proposal photography of all time here in Iceland when one of the horses sensed the very importance and high emotional vibrations in the air and decided to cuddle with the just-engaged couple of Victor and Lexi!
A quick stop in between the actual horse rides gave us the opportunity to visit one of the local, more private waterfalls as well, so we made sure to use every opportunity we had on our hands.

WELCOME TO ICELANDIC
HIGHLANDS!
This photoshoot was my first experience to photoshoot same gender secret proposal with a cute couple from the United States. At first, I thought there might be at least some tiny differences, yet very quickly, I reassured myself that “love is love” and continued with my photoshoot as usual.
This time we visited a secluded area of mighty Háifoss (Haifoss) waterfall, which is located within a vast and eerie region of the Icelandic Highlands. This waterfall is truly epic, and to truly see its size, you need to follow the hiking path leading to the canyon below easier and more visited viewpoint.
At one moment, the sun hit the stream of the Haifoss Waterfall and literally exploded in colours which were spreading through the canyon. As we burst into screams and run close, I tried to snap a few shots of this truly magnificent moment before it was gone…

SECRET PROPOSAL
Proposal on The
BLACK SAND BEACH!
This cute couple from Canada decided to visit Iceland. Harrison decided to propose here in Iceland in the best way - as a SECRET! Their schedule pretty packed, therefore, we have decided that best solution would be the famous black sand beach of Vik (Vikurfjara). Despite some harsh strong winds, we have managed to capture some the main Vik´s cliffs in the backround of the moment of the actual proposal. Wind blasted in our faces together with the black sands so we hid below mountains of Reynisfjalla.

IN the STORM!
Sebastian has decided to propose his beloved partner in South Iceland at the black sand beach of Vik (Vikurfjara). As I anxiously monitored the weather forecast, we witnessed one of the worst storms approaching Iceland. We quickly decided to change the plans when one of the local caves provided us with a cozy shelter. The scene was mesmerizingly illuminated by raging storm.

THEIR SECRET PROPOSAL ON
THE GLACIER!
Juan and Adriana flew to Iceland for the first time all the way from mexico. Juan decided to explore Iceland via driving the entire ring road (N.1) which loops around whole Iceland!
Just in the beginning of their trip, he planed to secretly propose to her beloved Adriana and to spice things up even more, he surprised her with his proposal right on the glacier! Adriana could not believe and with her eyes full of tears of joy screamed: YES!
