UNFORGETTABLE MULTIPLE DAY EXPERIENCE IN ICELAND

I have been contacted by a lovely couple from Europe during their planning of their first visit of the Iceland. After a video call of introduction and sharing of each others goals, needs and wants we ended up creating a whole custom made travel itinerary for their 14-days long stay with different scenarios depending on weather and their current energy.

We have first met at the Keflavík International Airport and wasting no time we headed out straight for the first adventure towards Highlands.

In the end, we have visited besides main popular overcrowded places, also some less known and completely empty scenic spots in Icelandic Highlands, South Coast, Westfjords or Snæfellsnes Peninsula. We had incredible time and visited some of the most Powerfull Icelandic Waterfalls, Worldwide famous Iceland´s Hikes, Lookout Spots, Relaxing Natural Hot Pools or even Glaciers. Here are some Photographic Highlights from their Icelandic Adventure.

  • Two smiling people in yellow and green rain jackets standing on wet ground with a waterfall in the background, posing happily with arms around each other.

    SOUTH COAST

One of the biggest Waterfalls in South Iceland is Seljalandsfoss. Literally: ¨Huge mass of water falling from the sky¨. Getting wet is during this visit included!

  • A man crossing a shallow stream in mountains, wearing a backpack, grey pants, black jacket, orange laces on hiking shoes, and a blue knit hat, with brown rocky terrain and mountain peaks in the background.

    HIGHLANDS

Icelandic special Offroad routes led us to Natural Reserve Fjallabak. We found some of the most amazing sceneries, colours and different rock formations on the planet!

  • A person dressed in outdoor climbing gear, including a yellow helmet and maroon jacket, stands on black volcanic soil with glaciers and rugged mountains in the background.

    MÝRDALSJöKULL GLACIER

Fourth biggest glacier in Iceland is still relatively accessible in just about 2.5 hours from the capital of Iceland Reykjavik.
